We are currently on vacation in Hawaii for a week and a half. We are staying in Waikiki beach and enjoying the cooler, less humid air.
It's been a rough start, Noah got the flu on the day we flew here and he is having a really hard time with his bottom molars. Today is the first day he's clearly beginning to feel better, so it's looking up.
On the bright side Noah's flu scored us an upgrade at the hotel so we could have a bath tub! Here is our first room....
That's about all the space Noah had to play before. But now....
He's got two rooms and a couch to bounce off! We even have a view of Diamond Head crater...
We have done a ton of walking, eating and some shopping for staples we can't get so easily at home; clothes, shoes, snacks.... Legos.
It's been a little too cool for the beach, plus it's no place for a baby with a fever. We have just enjoyed the view, a couple free shows and even a parade.
We bought a weeks pass to the zoo ($45... not too bad) and have taken Noah twice already. His flu has made him less interested than normal but we will go back.
I just wanted to give everyone a quick update and I'll post again when I don't have to use a cell phone.
